Directions for Use

The 6.5cc scoop provided will hold approximately 4,000 mg of chondroitin sulfate powder (90%, porcine source).   Start with a "loading" period of two (2) level scoops per day (8,000 mg) for the first one to two weeks.   After the initial loading period, provide just 1/2 scoop (2,000 mg) to 1 scoop (4,000 mg) per day. The usage rate may vary depending on the horse's weight and age or as directed by local attending veterinarian.

For equine use only. Cautions: Safe use in pregnant animals or animals intended for breeding has not been proven. Consult with your veterinarian before using this product in animals: with clotting disorders; being treated with anticoagulant medications; diabetes, or any metabolic disorder causing hyperglycemia; history of urinary tract stones; known allergies to shellfish. If lameness worsens, discontinue use and contact your veterinarian. Administer during or after the animal has eaten to reduce incidence of gastrointestinal upset. Warnings: For animal use only. Keep out of the reach of children and animals. In case of accidental overdose, contact a health professional immediately. This product should not be given to animals intended for human consumption
