Chondroitin sulfates are a member of the glycosaminoglycan family which are essential components of the cartilage and connective tissue. IsoFlex-CS keeps to your horse's joints working efficiently while working to replenish valuable nutrients. IsoFlex-CS helps to support normal joint function and to maintain overall joint health and integrity. Great for performance horses! A New Standard for Quality The Chondroitin sulfate used in the manufacture of IsoFlex-CS is 100% American material of bovine source. None of the cheaper imported or porcine sourced material is utilized. The chondroitin we have selected is 100% pharmaceutical grade meaning that it is approved for use in human applications--very high quality standards. Base ingredients are generally either cheap or nutritious--we've elected to go with nutritious! IsoFlex-CS features a nutritious base that's comprised of food grade, full-fat milled flaxseed and a premium quality yeast culture. The yeast culture is a rich source of B-complex vitamins and metabolites which are great for the digestive tract. No alfalfa meal, wheat middlings, oat by-product or other by-products were even considered as a suitable base for this product! Recommended Feeding Each one ounce feeding will provide 1,750 mg of chondroitin sulfate. A one-ounce scoop is enclosed for your feeding convenience. First 30 days: Feed to mature horses at the rate of two (2) ounces per head per day for the first thirty (30) days. Reduce to one (1) ounce per day thereafter. Maintenance: Feed to mature horses at the rate of one (1) ounce per head, daily for maintenance. Larger Breeds Increase the feeding rate proportionately for larger breeds in excess of 1,000 lbs (454 kg).
