What is Yeast Culture?

Yeast culture is a natural product that results from the fermentation of live cell yeast on a grain media. During the culturing process, metabolites are produced.  Metabolites might be described as the various organic compounds that result from the process of metabolism (the complex process involved in the maintenance of the life of a live yeast cell). 

Metabolites present in yeast culture serve to increase the fermenting activity of the bacteria in the colon and cecum, allowing for greater assimilationof the nutrients present in the diet.
